Use of PCC Crown Floor mics to amplify taps over orchestra

Use of Dante Virtual Soundcard to record audio from M7CL into ProTools

42nd Street was one fun show to mix, but it came with some challenges. The use of Yamaha's Rio was used for the orchestra inputs and outputs in the pit. The use of Aviom D400 was used for personal monitors for orchestra members. DCA programming to only have the necessary mics open when needed. The Yamaha M7CL was used for this show. Due to this being a tap show, PCC Crown Floor mics were used to amplify to taps over the orchestra. This is where some of the challenges came in as the floor mics liked to cause feedback, but counteracting that with a User Defined Key linked to a mute group were the floor mics were solved the problem in most cases. I also used Dante Virtual Soundcard to record all of the audio from the M7CL into ProTools to be later mixed.
